Sunday 29 April
Advance registration has now closed, but please feel free to just turn up. Couples who attend our Wedding Showcase and then book their wedding at Birdsall House will receive complimentary use of the bridal suite on the night of their wedding.
Sitting in its own private valley on the edge of the Wolds, Birdsall House was built in 1540 and has been lived in by the Willoughby family for the last 300 years but for your celebration, this country home is exclusively yours.
Create the wedding you’ve always dreamed of with a bespoke package that includes your own dedicated, award-winning wedding planner, Lindsay Whitwell, Founder of LW Events.
Hold your ceremony in our own church within the grounds, the ruins of the twelfth century monastery, our historic Oval Room, or one of the many other tasteful and unique rooms available. Whichever you choose, your guests will not have experienced a wedding like yours before.
Follow your ceremony with a menu made just for you by our talented chef, Tom Coe, and take your first dance in our magnificent grounds, overlooking the Birdsall House lake. You and your guests can then retire to one of six bedrooms, completely renovated in 2017, with a number of other hotels available nearby for larger celebrations. Or create a truly relaxing getaway by hiring the house, just for you and your guests, for the whole weekend.
Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony with a handful of close friends and family, or have a large guest list you can’t bear to edit, we have a wide range of options to create a truly breath-taking wedding.
Come and see this splendid house, dressed for a wedding, at our Wedding Showcase on Sunday 29 April 2018, 11 – 4, where Lady Cara Willoughby, Lindsay Whitwell and a range of our recommended suppliers will also be on hand to chat to you about your ideas.
